Brent and I read a magazine article about reactive attachment disorders in adopted children. We know that there will be affects from the child being in an institution all her young life, but we weren't aware of just how bad it might be. We are now thinking we maybe we should adopt a younger child, maybe between 12-18 months, to reduce the likelihood of this being a problem. Not sure.
