Monday night, Jan. 17, China released another shared list of children with special needs. All day Tuesday I carried around the house and cell phone, hoping that we would get our referral call, but it didn’t happen. On Wednesday I called our agency to see if I could get some answers, only to get a voicemail. Later that afternoon, I received a call back and was told that we moved up 2 spots, and that we are next up for a referral. This is good news! Hopefully this means that we will be matched with a child from the next list. (I’m guessing the next list will be out around Feb. 21, but that’s just an educated guess.)Apparently when the shared list is released, it’s like black Friday at WalMart. All the agencies are trying to lock the children’s files before another agency does. So now I’m praying that CHI’s network speed is super fast ;)
Just for fun I’ve added 3 poll questions at the far right. Your guess is as good as mine.

You can look at the list yourself and ask for a child file.WACAP kids gives access to the list there are over 1600 kids listed. Some kids are agency specific but most are available to any family. Not sure what agency you have. You can also adopt 2 kids at once.It seems like some agencies are not sharing all the info with their clients... Good luck
